About these terms
Who we are
This website is run by UBM 3D / 4D Ultrasound Scans (“UBM Scans”, “we”, “us”), 10 Anzac Rd, Menai NSW 2234. You can reach us on 0423 550 063 or at [email protected].
Booking a scan
- Appointments are necessary. A booking enquiry sent through this website is a request, and your time is set once our team confirms it with you.
- Pregnancy scans need no referral. Just tell us how many weeks pregnant you are.
- Medical imaging requires a valid referral from your GP or specialist. Please bring your referral and your Medicare card to your appointment.
- Changes, cancellations and re-scans are covered on our cancellation and refunds page.
Prices and packages
- Keepsake package prices, and what each package includes, are listed on our packages and pricing page.
- A multiple pregnancy surcharge of $50 applies due to the additional scanning time required.
- Complimentary gender evaluation and baby measurements depend on your baby’s gestational age and position.
- Prints included in a package are posted to you.
Two different services
Keepsake scans and medical scans
They are booked, priced and reported differently.
3D and 4D keepsake scans
Keepsake scans are not considered medical scans, so Medicare and private health insurance cannot be used for them.
Diagnostic medical imaging
Diagnostic ultrasound is performed on a valid referral, and your report is sent directly to your referring doctor.
